Origin of the leaf
The leaves of the yerba trees used for the production of this product come from the states of Santa Catarina, Paraná and Rio Grande Do Sul in Brazil. The trees grow in native forests whose microclimate favours the ideal development of the leaf’s properties.
Maturation
After the drying and pre-grinding process, the Yerba Canarias « canchada » is stored in 50 kg bags for a period of 4 to 6 months, in temperature and humidity controlled environments in order to guarantee a uniform product quality between the different batches.
Production
Strict quality controls are applied throughout the production process in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
In addition, expert tasters assess the quality from raw material to final product to ensure the defined product standards.
